The Day I Lost My Cat

Last Saturday, I had a terrible morning. My cat, Mimi, was missing! I looked everywhere in the house, but I couldn't find her.

My little brother was crying. "Where is Mimi?" he asked. We searched under the beds and behind the sofa, but she wasn't there.

Then, my mother heard a soft sound outside. We ran to the garden and looked up. Mimi was sitting on a tree branch! She looked scared, but she was safe.

My father got a ladder and carefully brought Mimi down. She was happier at home than in the tree. Since that day, I always close the garden gate.
