A Day on Grandpa's Farm

My grandpa has a small farm in the countryside. I visit him every summer. His farm is green and quiet.

Grandpa gets up very early, at five o'clock. First, he feeds the chickens. The chickens are hungry, and they run to him. Then he collects the eggs. I help him. I carry the basket.

Grandpa has a cow too. Her name is Bông. She is brown and white. She eats grass all day. Grandpa milks her in the morning. The milk is warm and fresh.

There are three ducks on the pond. They swim and play in the water. There is also a dog, Vàng. He guards the farm at night.

In the afternoon, I sit under a big tree with Grandpa. He tells me stories about the animals. I love these stories.

The farm is my favorite place in summer. The animals are my friends.
