English Reading Practice A1: 10 Bài Đọc Tiếng Anh Cho Người Mới Bắt Đầu

Đọc hiểu là kỹ năng giúp bạn nhìn thấy từ vựng và ngữ pháp được dùng trong câu thật, thay vì học rời rạc. Dưới đây là 10 bài đọc tiếng Anh trình độ A1 — câu ngắn, từ vựng cơ bản — mỗi bài kèm từ vựng, câu hỏi đọc hiểu có đáp án, và một điểm ngữ pháp liên quan để bạn ôn lại ngay.

Cách đọc hiệu quả với 10 bài dưới đây

Đọc lần 1 không tra từ điển, cố hiểu ý chính. Đọc lần 2, gạch chân từ mới rồi tra nghĩa. Đọc lần 3 và trả lời câu hỏi mà không nhìn lại bài. Cách này giúp bạn luyện phản xạ đọc hiểu thay vì chỉ dịch từng từ.

Bài 1: My Family

My name is Lan. I am a student. I have a small family. My father is a doctor. My mother is a teacher. I have one brother. He is ten years old. We live in a small house in the city. I love my family very much.

Vocabulary: family (gia đình), doctor (bác sĩ), teacher (giáo viên), brother (anh/em trai), city (thành phố)

Bài 2: My Daily Routine

I wake up at six o'clock every morning. I brush my teeth and have breakfast. I go to school at seven. School starts at eight. I have lunch at twelve. I go home at four. In the evening, I do my homework and watch TV. I go to bed at ten.

Vocabulary: wake up (thức dậy), breakfast (bữa sáng), homework (bài tập về nhà), evening (buổi tối), go to bed (đi ngủ)

Bài 4: My Favorite Food

My favorite food is rice and chicken. I eat rice every day. I also like vegetables and fruit. I don't like spicy food. On Sundays, my mother cooks fish soup. It is delicious. I drink a lot of water every day, but I don't drink coffee.

Grammar point: Câu phủ định trong thì hiện tại đơn (don't/doesn't + V).

Bài 5: My Pet

I have a small dog. Its name is Max. Max is white and brown. He is very friendly. I walk him every morning. He likes to play in the garden. I feed him twice a day. Max is my best friend.

Bài 6: The Weather Today

Bài 7: My School

My school is big. There are many classrooms and a library. My classroom has twenty students. My favorite subject is English. My teacher is very kind. We have lessons from Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, I don't go to school.

My mother is a nurse. She works in a hospital. She starts work at seven in the morning. She helps sick people every day. Her job is difficult, but she loves it. In the evening, she comes home and cooks dinner for the family. I am proud of my mother.

Vocabulary: nurse (y tá), hospital (bệnh viện), sick (ốm), difficult (khó khăn), proud (tự hào)

Grammar point: Tính từ "difficult" đứng sau "to be" và liên từ "but" nối hai ý trái ngược.

Câu hỏi thường gặp

Nên đọc lại một bài mấy lần?

Ít nhất 2-3 lần: lần đầu đọc hiểu ý chính, lần sau tra từ mới và trả lời câu hỏi, lần cuối đọc lại không nhìn bản dịch để kiểm tra mức độ hiểu.

Không hiểu hết bài thì có nên tra từ điển ngay không?

Không nên tra ngay câu đầu tiên gặp từ lạ — hãy đọc hết câu, đoán nghĩa theo ngữ cảnh trước, sau đó mới tra để kiểm tra lại.

10 bài này có đủ để lên A2 không?

Đây là bước khởi động tốt, nhưng để lên A2 chắc chắn, bạn nên đọc thêm nhiều bài đa dạng chủ đề hơn và kết hợp học đủ từ vựng, ngữ pháp A1.
